A wise man changes his mind, a fool never will

“A wise man changes his mind, a fool never will.” – Spanish Proverb

Not everyone is perfect, we all make mistakes. Yes, even millionaires and songwriters have their flaws when they write their songs, or make money. It is human nature that we learn, which is where this quote comes into play. To evolve and improve on oneself, a person might think of how they can change themselves to adapt to the many demands of life.

This may include, becoming a parent, responding to consumer turnout, or thinking of many ways to solve one problem in a company. In this regard, a person is a fool if they stick to one way, especially if it’s their way. This is seen as ineffective as they are closing off, not just the people around them, but the world itself.

There is little that one person can do by themselves that they will more likely tend to fail than to succeed. However, by opening up their shell, and taking criticism and advice can a person truly stand out and make a difference to themselves and the world.

There is no shame in receiving advice, as it’ll only make us better. The true question is what will you do with it? Will you take it to improve, or set up a fictional grudge that will lead to your downfall?
