Fully enjoy the seasons

“I saw old Autumn in the misty morn / Stand, shadowless like Silence, listening / To Silence.” – Thomas Hood

Autumn is an excellent time to expose our senses and attention as we feel the crisp wooded air and the crunching sound of the leaves. It is a time to relieve our minds and to remind us that we need to let ourselves connect with nature and appreciate a time in which it will pass for the next season to come. No matter your age or social status, everyone has the right to enjoy autumn and each season however they want to. And yes, this includes throwing yourself in a pile of leaves.

Since we are alone during the pandemic, being outside is a great idea to clear our minds as the changing colors and environment allow our senses to engage. It should be noted that not many people have sight or hearing to experience these seasonal experiences. Therefore, we must take advantage of this time and be grateful by going out and enjoying the sights, hearing, and any other sensory outlets that we have.
