Be Thankful For What You Have

Be thankful for what you have; you’ll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don’t have, you will never, ever have enough.” — Oprah Winfrey

As we are in the middle of the epidemic, and possibly quarantine, it is an excellent time to recount everything and everyone that you have met or obtained. It will show you how much your friends, family, acquaintances, and teachers mean to you, and how lucky you are to have met them.

Afterwards, take the time to video chat them to reminisce about all the good times that you enjoyed together, as well as the bad times to learn from past mistakes.

In terms of material things, you will learn to appreciate the things you have, especially with delays in shipping and the demand on certain items. You could even find something unique about your possessions that you didn’t know about.

Also recount the simplest activities such as going to the movies or shopping in a mall. You’ll learn to appreciate the smallest things in life and never lament about doing similar activities after the epidemic is over.
