It’s Okay To Not Be Okay

I think we can all agree that 2020 isn’t a great year for the planet Earth. Some will say the past few years haven’t been good much less great. It’s hard to keep seeing the bad and the ugly day after day.

As a species that thrives off of community we are, for our safety, kept apart. Hatred is being spread at the speed of light. With the start of a new decade many though this would be the starting point for themselves but now we are all on pause. And all of this adds up.

We all have a breaking point and they are all different points. What you want to do is not get to that point. With this year, it is easier said than done. Some of us are already sleeping in late and doing absolutely nothing. But I’m here to tell you that it’s oaky to not be okay.

You might think you are at your breaking point when you don’t feel like doing nothing, but you’re not. It’s okay to feel defeated in a time, so many of us have never experienced. It is okay to not know what to do. Many of us don’t.

Like I said, many of us have never experienced what 2020 has shown. You are not at your breaking point. If anything your body is in a state of restarting. It has taken in all the information, gotten overheated, and is forcibly restarting. And no, you are not a machine. You are only human and life is just hard sometimes. It’s okay to not be okay.
