Stop Running From Yourself

The world is yours, yet why are you so afraid of it? Why are we constantly doubting our own abilities? We stifle our growth with the words we use internally. Those vicious phrases like “I’m not good enough, I don’t know how, I will never be able to do it”, etc. etc.

The list can be quite long. And regardless of all the self-help books, webinars, and other bullshit we try, it doesn’t seem to stop.

Even when we are given a blueprint of how to change things, how to restart things, for some reason, we stick to our old patterns. We know the why. We know that our brain is programmed to protect us, and to do what it thinks we want it to do.

When you read about the heart-mind connection, it’s about finding ways to do the things that are more congruent with who we truly are.

Let’s challenge that further. For real congruency, don’t we need all the parts of ourselves to be in alignment? That means our bodies, our minds, our gut/intuition, our hearts, our spirits, and our souls all should be working as one.

If we can get all the elements that make up the reality that is ourselves aligned, we can actually figure out what the hell we really want. A lot of times, the honest answer is the one that we’ve been running from.

So, what do you think you need to do?

What have you been running from?
